The objective of this one day workshop is to explore the challenges and opportunities of compound semiconductor nuclear detector materials and systems, by bringing together practioners and researchers in the art to identify areas for potential collaboration with the recently established Compound Semiconductors Applications Catapult.
The workshop will consist of short talks from compound semiconductor nuclear detector users and developers, and an open workshop and panel session to define the current challenges and potential solutions including those from sectors other than electronics.
